Trade Content Specialist
We recruit high-potential candidates to work with some of the best companies, start-ups, and agencies in South Florida. For this particular role, our client is seeking a marketing specialist for creating and delivering travel partner communication initiatives in order to drive engagement and demand. Execute internal sales team and external travel partner communications of the company.
Scope of Work
Responsibilities:
- Create, write and deliver best-in-class and best-in-industry trade email communications to influence the likelihood of travel partners. The goal is to provide timely, inspiring, relevant and actionable content to drive outstanding brand perception. Execute all travel partner and internal sales team email communications to drive record-setting read rates and engagement metrics.
- Acquire and maintain a detailed knowledge of the company's policies, principles and strategies, and keep up to date with relevant developments.
- Collaborate with key internal team members to support various brand initiatives in line with the company's strategy and upcoming policy changes, including Trade Marketing, Product Marketing, Public Relations, Loyalty Marketing, Consumer Social, Consumer Email, Guest Services, and Sales Systems & Operations.
- Research and write communication pieces including, but not limited to, trade blogs and newsletters, assisting with trade platform descriptions, adapting change management and operational policy articles for an external trade audience, etc.
- Coordinate with the internal creative services team to develop assets for communications projects, owning the creative briefing process using our project management tool (Workfront). Adhere to communications and editorial guides and routinely research email best practices, ensuring that we produce high-quality and error-free copy and communications.
- Maintain and follow a communications calendar to ensure content is delivered with deadlines in mind.
- Write and script answers for trade publication inquiries, articles, and executive responses for interviews, as needed.
- Support and evaluate results of communication campaigns.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or related field of study; or any equivalent combination of relevant experience and skills.
- 2+ years' experience in communications development, B2B marketing, or similar skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced copywriting and content marketing skills. Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
- Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office (particularly PowerPoint) and related business and communication tools and platforms, email communication platforms (particularly Pardot).
- Strategic and creative mindset.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
