Social Content Designer & Creator

For this particular role, our client is seeking a Social Content Designer & Creator who can craft visually dynamic, social-first content that resonates with Gen Z and Millennials. This position requires a blend of design, animation, and video production and editing skills to produce culturally relevant, trend-driven content in real time. The ideal candidate will thrive in fast-paced, social-focused environments, bringing creativity, adaptability, and technical expertise to every project.
Scope of Work
We are looking for a content creator with a strong foundation in art direction, branding, and visual storytelling, capable of creating compelling, social-first content tailored to Gen Z and Millennial audiences. This role demands a blend of graphic design, motion design, and video production skills, with a particular focus on self-produced branded content—not just personal or influencer-style work.
Scope of Work
You’ll ideate, shoot, design, and edit content—often using a smartphone—tailored for platforms like Instagram and TikTok, and deliver it in real-time. The ideal candidate is culturally fluent, highly adaptable, and brings a clear point of view, strong storytelling instincts, and a portfolio that shows branded content success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Art Direction & Design: Own the visual identity of content pieces with a strong sense of branding, typography, layout, and storytelling.
- Video Production: Conceptualize, shoot, and edit social video content (especially Reels and TikToks) independently.
- Motion Graphics: Create dynamic animations and visuals optimized for social platforms.
- Content Strategy Input: Distinguish between organic and paid content, providing examples and performance insights.
- Portfolio Management: Present work created for brands (not just personal content), clearly indicating each project’s scope and outcome.
- Trend Awareness: Stay ahead of cultural and platform trends to develop relevant content daily.
- End-to-End Ownership: Lead the creative process from concept to publishing.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior creatives, producers, and strategists to align content with campaign goals and brand guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Education: Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Multimedia, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years creating branded content, ideally within fast-paced, social-first teams or agencies.
- Technical Proficiency: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), mobile editing tools, and video capture/editing apps.
- Social Fluency: Deep understanding of platform-specific formats, audiences, and behaviors—especially for Instagram and TikTok.
