Social Media Director

For this particular role our client is seeking a social media director who leads a team focusing on the “earned” social media space. This person works to bring the agency and client brands into new areas of the digital landscape. This client-facing position will manage a team of content managers, collaborate across agency departments to deliver an effective strategy to meet clients’ goals. This position will work directly under the President and closely with our clients. The ideal candidate must have an open channel of communication at all times.

Scope of Work


Responsibilities:
  • Developing the organic strategy for our client's social media marketing and responsible for effective execution and measurement of success. 
  • Manage day-to-day social media strategy and activities for multiple businesses 
  • Generate compelling content that will effectively reach target markets 
  • Understand each individual client, the message they are trying to send, and the target market that will be used to portray that message

  • Performing social media audits and sending weekly/monthly reports to clients 
  • Corresponding daily with the account team and clients and regularly sharing feedback and insights. This includes impeccable communication skills over email and replies in a short amount of time. 
  • Attending meetings with clients to better understand each client’s need  
  • Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of Social Media programs.
  • Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results. 
  • Create and work with digital media team to manage promotions and social media ad campaigns. 
  • Creating content calendars for each client 
  • Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “Social” way while cultivating leads and sales. Responding to comments in a timely manner. 
  • Responsible to managing departmental adoption of software and tools that can increase efficient management of daily tasks including content tracking, posting and development. • Other duties as designed. 
Requirements: 
  • Excellent communication skills, i.e. written and verbal, to develop a wide-range of materials; and ability to interact effectively with different target demographics 
  • Digitally savvy and interested in digital marketing industry and technologies, i.e. latest TikTok advancement 
  •  Highly organized and prepared 
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects effectively, excellent planning, project management, and organizational skills  
  • Proficiency with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and email marketing 
  • Maintain a deep understanding of client business goals and marketing objectives, translating them into digital objectives/strategies 
  • Understanding social media advertisements on social media platforms 
  • Capable of managing a cross-functional team under tight deadlines  
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and able to provide both robust and quick POV's  
  • Experience building multi-channel social strategies 
  • Social Media experience and a high level of familiarity with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and Pinterest 
  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, Public Relations, or a related field 
  • Knowledge of South Florida and surrounding area 
  • Proficient and active on social media platforms 
  • Basic graphic design work and familiarity with Adobe Suite (primarily Photoshop) and or Canva 
  •  Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and creating digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate 
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment 
  • Adherence to tight deadlines 
  • Extremely detail-oriented, with clear and proven organizational skills 
  • Demonstrate genuine curiosity and interest in our clients & their business
  • Adaptable and open to change 
  •  Spanish/English preferred
