Project Manager
New Product Development

Our client is seeking a Project Manager, New Product Development to join their team. As a key member of the PDO (Product Development and Optimization) Team and will develop and produce high-quality, best-selling consumer packaged products for the Amazon marketplace. The main responsibility of this role is to manage a global development cross-functional team in order to develop, commercialize and launch innovative products across a range of brands and categories that meet cost, schedule, and scope requirements. Additionally, the project manager will aid in both the concept design and communication of design. 

Scope of Work


Duties & Responsibilities: 


  • Lead New Product Development (NPD) project teams from concept to post release with a strong sense of urgency. 
  • Participate in planning sessions with the cross functional project team to collaboratively develop standardized project timelines. 
  • Guide cross-functional teams, including operations, merchandising, design, supply chain, and finance to work seamlessly across company, culture, and geography boundaries for successful project execution. 
  • Responsible for delivering key KPI’s of project timing, cost, quality, and budget / ensures project outputs are consistently high-quality deliverables, on time and within budget. 
  • Communicate project expectations and plans to the project team members, senior management, and other stakeholders, in a clear and concise fashion. 
  • Identify and drive project deliverables, milestones, and daily tasks with a strong sense of urgency. 
  • Maintain documentation as required by the stage-gate development process and PMO monthly cadence. 
  • Any other as assigned by the role’s direct supervisor.


Role Requirements: 


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field with equivalent work experience. 
  • Previous NPD experience required, consumer products industry experience a plus. 
  • 5-7+ years of experience in program management and leadership roles is required. 
  • Demonstrated familiarity with structured project management methodologies (e.g., critical path) and strong influencing skills. 
  • Demonstrated familiarity with basic manufacturing processes and production planning. 
  • Logical and creative problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills, along with basic business financial knowledge. 
  • Proficient in project management tools such as Jira, Monday, Microsoft Project, Project Online or SharePoint. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and presentation skills are required. 
  • Demonstrated self-confidence, and ability to manage constructive and cooperative working relationships. 
  • Demonstrated sensitivity and awareness to interact with a global team.
