Copywriter 

We recruit high-potential candidates to work with some of the best companies, start-ups and agencies in Miami. For this particular role, our client is seeking a copywriter who will be responsible for brainstorming, creating, and transforming ideas into words for digital and social channels, articles, advertisements, publications and pamphlets. Writes words, text and scripts for television commercials, radio, internet content, jingles, websites, press releases, flyers and direct mail literature. The copywriter will lead the written concept messaging development of any given project, and work within a team environment to collaborate in delivering the best ideas and best work possible. This role works closely with art directors and designers to brainstorm, develop, and implement creative ideas, while taking direction, insight, and creative direction from the associate creative director or within the creative team.  

Scope of Work


The goal and expectation of this role are to deliver the best work possible within the scope and ask of the client. All creative work should effectively communicate the required message, and satisfy the creative brief as provided.  

Responsibilities: 
  • Writes/develops copy/messaging for advertising and marketing materials
  • Researches the technical properties of products and/or services
  • Helps clear understanding of the target audience’s voice and language
  • Determines what makes products appealing to consumers
  • Develops unique, new concepts for marketing campaigns
  • Works closely with account executives
  • Creates and presents ideas to ACD, CD and/or clients
  • Works closely with art directors, illustrators and production to create ideas
  • Revises, edits, and proofreads content as needed

  • Works within tight deadlines
  • Researches competitors and keep abreast of market trends
  • Explore different ideas and concepts for the verbal elements in tandem with the creative team
  • Ensures that all work meets the standards for quality set forth and expected by agency and client
  • Is creative, has a strong positive attitude, and continually strives for excellence and improvement
