Content Strategist
We recruit high-potential candidates to work with some of the best companies, start-ups, and agencies in South Florida. For this particular role, our client is seeking a senior content strategist to support requests for new content development and publishing, including browse desktop and mobile experiences, blogs, Pinterest, and YouTube. Develop and maintain content strategy to support the brand's business objectives and successful customer journey.
Scope of Work
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own the content strategy and CMS/platform update process. Maintain content calendars for posting in a relevant and timely fashion to ensure engagement and conversion metrics are met. Ensure the accuracy of the content displayed on ncl.com and its web properties
- Interact with product marketing and internal creative team to gather positioning briefs and request/provide feedback and direction on all assets required for content publishing.
- Support web marketing and enterprise initiatives, collaborating with staff from various departments to gather, create, and enter content on its web properties. This entails assisting in the creation of the plan, researching/creating imagery, writing copy, coordinating with third parties, and clearing rights as needed.
- Ensure that all content/copy created meets the style guide standards.
- Develop and maintain a schedule of content activity to ensure site accuracy, appropriateness, and relevancy. Supports content execution and publishing with CMS access, troubleshooting, and reporting issues to IT.
- Utilize various web analytics tools, and collaborate with analytics teams and media agencies to analyze the performance, productivity, and effectiveness of content managed.
- Perform other job-related functions as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelors' Degree in Marketing, Web Design or related field of study; or any equivalent combination of relevant background and work experience.
- 4 - 6 years' experience in an e-Commerce environment.
- Working knowledge of HTML and web publishing/content management processes, systems and related tools. Strong sense of site layout and design.
- Proficient with HTML editors, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Acrobat. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all stakeholders and leadership throughout the organization.
- Successful history of balancing priorities simultaneously, while working under tight time constraints and meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to shift priorities quickly in a changing environment.
- Track record of learning and applying new technologies quickly.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
